Life can get difficult.
Here at People to People Ministries we build a relationship with you and seek to help you in several ways:
Food Pantry: is a choice food pantry offering a 3-day emergency supply of groceries. Families and individuals are eligible for help with food EVERY 30 DAYS.
Personal Products: Hygiene is offered to eligible individuals and families EVERY 30 DAYS.
Clothing: Clothing is offered to eligible individuals and families FIVE TIMES A YEAR OR IN EMERGENCY SITUATIONS. Clothing is also offered through our Back to School Project to all eligible children Pre K through 12th grade. We ask that you register for our Back To School Program where you will be able to make a shopping appointment during our AUGUST BACK TO SCHOOL EVENT.
Household Items: Blankets, sheets, pillows, towels, and kitchen items are offered ONE TIME A YEAR OR IN EMERGENCY SITUATIONS.
Financial Assistance: Financial assistance for rent past due or security deposits, disconnection of utilities, and prescription medications, are offered on a case-by-case basis. Assistance is provided Monday– Wednesday–Fridays during our normal operating hours.
HOUSING, UTILITIES, & OTHER ASSISTANCE
Once a year, we can help our clients with a portion of some of their other living expenses, such as, utilities, rent, birth certificates, etc.
ALL ASSISTANCE IS GIVEN IN-PERSON
DOCUMENTS NEEDED FOR CLIENT INTAKE
Proof of 90-Day Residency Wayne County Ohio (Examples: Rent receipts, utility bill with history of usage at your current/past Wayne County address, pay stubs with the date and your address on each.)
ID
Social Security Cards for all household member
Proof of Income
For assistance with utilities you must bring your Disconnect Notice.
For assistance with rent you must be 30 days past due and bring written notice from your landlord.
Wayne County Residents (with less than 90 days of Wayne County residency) are only eligible for short-term assistance such as emergency food or clothing until residency can be established.
